Through a special Yin-Yang yoga sequence and blended Sound Bath practice, the body and mind will be restored allowing for states of profound peace and relaxation. We will have a brief discussion on the importance of silence in our lives and learn to connect with pranayama breathing exercise Ujjayi.
During this event Alana Weathersbee will lead a 30 min sequence of Yang style poses that will be strengthening, balancing and energizing. Carly Vermilya (formally McHale) will then lead a 60 min Yin style practice that will be supportive and restful, designed to increase flexibility within connective tissue and allow space for deep muscle relaxation. Jessica Kloeker of Port of Call Yoga & Sound, will play a wide variety of instruments including the didgeridoo, drums, gong, bells, and Tibetan and crystal singing bowls. A beautiful symphony of sounds will guide you during your yin practice. The last 20 mins of class be will in complete silence for your final resting pose of Savasana. This Yoga Sound Bath Fusion will assist the body’s natural ability to restore, reconnect, relax and rejuvenate your entire system. Cost is $30
