Yoga for Healthy Joints with Jen Lin

The joints are the facilitators of movement throughout the body. When we move them mindfully we can understand how they function and can use that knowledge to inform our yoga practice & daily movement.

This workshop will focus on maintaining and improving the range of motion through the joints and strengthening the muscles surrounding them to increase ease of movement and improve balance. By moving the joints in an anatomically sound manner we can increase the flow of blood & synovial fluid, nourish joint cartilage and allow the bones to move smoothly. When we move mindfully and with support, we tap into the natural healing systems of the body which include better heart and circulatory health and protection from injuries.
