“The success of Yoga does not lie in the ability to perform postures, but in how it positively changes the way we live our lives and build our relationships.”
“Team Red, White & Blue exists to help veterans cultivate a new set of bonds for their next station in life. Team RWB believes that by training fiercely together as veterans and civilians alike, by pushing all to do that which seems impossible, by sharing their truths together, by showing up for each other regularly--even when they don’t much feel like it, by wearing new colors so they can recognize each other anywhere, veterans can forge the kind of relationships, the kind of understanding and communion left behind when they left the military. The kind of affiliation that makes life not just worth living, but brings meaning and value to it.
February 22nd is Eagle NamasDay. We welcome veterans and civilians, Eagles and future Eagles, to share in the benefits of yoga. Yoga not only increases one’s physical and mental health, it provides an inviting and effective means to engage veterans in our communities. It is our hope that Eagle NamasDay will inspire you to push yourselves and pursue challenges that champion the Team RWB mission.
Team RWB insists that all veterans have the opportunity to reclaim what was most precious about their military service: an unwavering sense of belonging, born of challenges that show us what each of us is capable of.
Now clear your mind and settle in for Eagle NamasDay.
Together we can find all that we seek.”
