It is easy to feel burnt out . Many of us spend so much of our time working, caregiving, and being productive that we end up feeling depleted. This Restorative Workshop is an act of radical self-care! Restorative yoga practice uses passive poses supported by cushions and blankets to coax you into a greater sense of ease. Give yourself PERMISSION to be still, relax and restore.
This workshop will begin with a discussion on the research on the health benefits of Stillness and Restorative Yoga to better understand that we are our most authentic selves when we are STILL- allowing for a deeper connection so that we can then better connect with those we love and encounter in daily life. We will also explore some more advanced methods of supporting the body with props so we can deeply relax.
Please arrive in warm, comfy clothing. No previous yoga experience necessary.
