Ayurveda is a holistic system of medicine native to India to help us live our most whole and healthy lives. It is often referred to as the "sister science of yoga". In this workshop we'll explore:
- Cultivating our digestive health by kindling fire (agni) and reducing toxins (ama)
- Our sense of taste
- Bringing more balance to our bodies through the lens of food choices
- Simple recipes that ignite digestive fire and soothe the spirit
Workshop will conclude with a yoga practice focused on the digestive health.
Ayurveda living can elevate your yoga lifestyle to new levels as you seek to better understand yourself and make choices with fierce self-love and compassion for a lifetime of health.
Experience needed for workshop: growing knowledge of your personal dosha and awareness of attributes to better identify imbalances is helpful but not required.
