Dragonfly is proud to announce a specially-designed yoga program that offers students a 100 hour immersion program designed to deepen your knowledge and understanding of the ancient art of yoga combined with an optional follow-on 100 hour program designed around learning how to teach and to register with Yoga Alliance. 

100 Hour Immersion: 

  • History, Philosophy, Eight Limbs and Sutras

  • A Study of the Ancient Texts

  • Discussions regarding Chakras, Gunas, Marmas

  • Introduction to Mediation, Asana and Pranayama

  • Sanskrit 101

  • Lifestyle/Intro to Ayurveda

  • Functional Anatomy & Physiology for Yoga Part 1

  • Alignment Workshop

200 Hour Teacher Training: 

  • Learning to Teach

  • Primer Dialogue, Class Design and Cueing

  • Movement Principles Workshop

  • Functional Anatomy and Physiology for Yoga Part 2

  • Assisting and Adjusting/Mirroring

  • Use of Props/Modifications 

  • Yoga for Specialized Communities (e.g. Prenatal, Seniors, Children)

  • The Business and Ethics of Yoga/Marketing/Branding

Beyond the Training. We offer students interaction and guidance from all Dragonfly instructors, a complimentary membership for unlimited yoga during your training, and opportunities to teach community classes at the Studio.

Small Group Setting. We believe less is more when it comes to the size of our trainings. In order to provide you with the best personal experience along with individual attention and instruction we limit our teacher training to no more than six students.

The Fine Print. Ready to learn more but have never actually taken a yoga class or perhaps only taken a few? The 100hr program is for you! The 200hr program is reserved for individuals who have a consistent yoga practice of one year or more and can commit to 12 studio/group yoga classes per month during their training.

Dates: 

  • Sept 27-29, Oct 18-20, Nov 22-24

  • Dec 13-15, Jan 24-26, Feb 21-23

  • Mar 20-22, Apr 24-26, May 15-17  

Times:   

  • Friday 5:30pm - 8:30pm ** Training will begin with the 5:30pm public class.   

  • Saturday 9am - 5pm ** Training will begin with the 9am and 10:30am public class.   

  • Sunday 8am - 2pm ** Training will begin with the 8am public class.      

Pricing:   

  • 1st 100 Hours: $1,300.00   

  • 2nd 100 Hours: $1,450.00 (full price = $2,750)   

  • All required textbooks and materials are included

  • Complimentary studio membership (during training) is included
