Mindfulness - Strength and Conditioning for the Mind

We all have life stories... and that life often hands us situations that can profoundly affect the decisions we make about our lives both professionally and personally. Working with our thoughts, noticing emotional reactivity and training attention matters for our well-being, resilience and ability to perform as a partner, colleague, parent, son/daughter, sibling, friend, teammate and community member.

 

This workshop offers a neuroscience-based introduction to self-awareness, emotional regulation, compassion and empathy as they relate to functioning under pressure, processing stress and trauma and optimizing the human experience for a richer, fuller and more connected life.

This interactive workshop includes discussion and skills practice to answer these questions:

  • What is/is NOT mindfulness?

  • How can I integrate mindfulness practices into the daily rhythms of my life?

  • How can I use these practices on my yoga mat and work with my inner critic? (Yoga Practice Included)


This workshop is facilitated by Suzanna Hasnay - Retired FBI Agent, RYT 500, Mindfulness-Based Coach for Law Enforcement and Public Safety/UC-San Diego Medical School and Mindful Badge, Yoga and Mindfulness Coach for FBI Hostage Rescue Team/Tactical Section
